Bedknobs and Broomsticks (fanmade retro trailer)

I figure with all the Harry Potter excitement this weekend, it was worth taking a quick look back at another magical classic.

Here, the poor kiddies -- not orphans but evacuees during World War II -- aren’t magical, but their new minder, Angela Lansbury is. They all fight off a Nazi invasion with magic, or something. I remember loving this as a kid; I need to have another look at it soon, I think.

Now, I have to wonder whether Lansbury’s character wasn’t a Hogwarts graduate. I bet this movie could slip right into the Harry Potter universe real easy...
