Cripes, is River Song gonna turn out to be everybody? Is she gonna be her own grandpa? The way this is all going, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

The Doctor looks real Flesh-y when he says, “Haven’t you figured that one out yet?”

We had figured that out, right?

Unless... holy shit, is that not David Tennant?!

Or maybe it isn’t. But Tennant’s been hinting again lately that he’d love to return to the show. Maybe he’s softening us up for a real shocking of an ending to Season 6, the one I expected at the end of Season 5: it’s all been a bizarre parallel detour into a sideline universe, and now it’s dead-ending, and everything rewinds back to Ten’s regeneration into Matt Smith, an Eleventh regeneration that then takes off in a new direction.

It could happen! “Something has happened to time,” after all...

Matt Smith told audiences at San Diego Comic Con that the series will resume on Saturday, August 27 (also via Radio Free Skaro). Hoorah! Not long to wait.
