Doctor Who thing of the day: Daleks on Twitter

I wouldn’t have thought that Daleks, not being the most sociable creatures in the universe, would be into social media, but without even trying, I have discovered at least three cyber Skaroans who are using Twitter to share their wisdom with the universe.

There’s Hipster Dalek -- “I EXTERMINATED BEFORE EXTERMINATING BECAME MAINSTREAM. OBFUSCAAATE!” -- who tweets such shrewdity as:

I AM PROUD TO BE LEFT-PLUNGERED! BEING RIGHT-PLUNGERED IS MAINSTREAM. BESIDES, LEFTIES ARE MORE LIKELY TO BE CREATIVE TYPES!

There is Republican Dalek -- which is pretty much an oxymoron -- who tweets suchness:

I WILL NEITHER CONFIRM NOR DENY THE SALE OF DEATH RAY TECHNOLOGY TO THE VARIOUS TENTACLES OF YOUR NATIONAL SECURITY STATE.

And just literally within the last twenty minutes, Conflicted Dalek has, uninvited, crossed my radar. Conflicted Dalek wonders whether “WE SHOULD BE EXTERMINATING EVERYONE BUT I AM GOING ALONG WITH IT. ARE YOU SURE THIS IS THE RIGHT THING GUYS?” and offers such Twitter-honed perception as:
