Doctor Who thing of the day: TARDIS corset... ouch
MayFaire Moon makes custom corsets. MayFaire Moon is currently in the process of making a custom TARDIS-esque corset for Nicole Schwartz. It’s not finished yet, but when it is, it will feature lights, sounds, and a key. No word on what the key will do, but I can guess. There had been, early in the process, a question of whether it would be feasible to create a sonic screwdriver that would open the corset, but this was dismissed as technically possible but not really practical. When finished the corset will have cost almost $900. That’s rent. That’s a crappy used car. That’s crazy. That’s fandom. You can follow the progress of the corset project at TARDIScorset.com and at MayFaire Moon’s Facebook page. I have one word in response: Ouch. For both the price and the cinching. (Thanks to Ken and Martha for the heads-up. If you stumble across a cool Doctor Who thing, feel free to email me with a link.) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
