things you need to know: toddlers make adorable fairy-tale prostitutes

If you were worried that tweens watching Pretty Woman at slumber parties meant they were coming to the “it’s so awesome to be a whore” concept too late, you may put your fears to rest. The reality show Toddlers & Tiaras, from the U.S. cable network TLC, is proud to bring you the three-year-old-of-the-evening:

I’m not sure why Wendy Dickey, mom to little Paisley, felt she had to explain anything to EW, because clearly this is too precious for words, but she did anyway:

Well, at this pageant there was an option to do celebrity-wear. And we thought about what we could wear with her being a brunette and Julia Roberts is my favorite actress of all time. I thought it was real cute to do Julia. She’s 3, if she was 10 I never would have considered this. But as young as she is I thought it was very comical.”

...

I’m amazed it’s caused this much of a frenzy. The judges loved it. Everybody except one particular mom went nuts over it. It was the cutest thing ever. It was very innocent. A lot probably would have been different if they aired the whole entire routine instead of just the hooker part.

It’s comical. It’s innocent. It’s the cutest thing ever.

You can stop looking for Halloween ideas for your little girl right now. Problem solved! She can look like a streetwalker while she’s walking the streets trolling for candy. Just adorable.
