Shame (trailer)
Yes, this is the sex-addiction drama you’ve heard about. Yes, this is the “Michael Fassbender goes full-frontal” flick. Yes, you will want to see it. Not because it’s titillating. But because it isn’t. Director Steve McQueen and Fassbender previously collaborated on the entirely unrelated and entirely amazing Hunger. Though the titles suddenly seem thematically connected to me. I wonder if they’ll do a series of films: I’d love to see what their film entitled Honor would look like. Or Pity. Or Desire.
