Doctor Who thing of the day: Tom Baker scarf necklace
Yesterday I posted about a Doctor Who scarf for people who don’t knit. Today, it’s a Doctor Who scarf for people who don’t want a scarf. No, really:
This was created by España Sheriff, who discusses at LiveJournal how she made it: I used 15/0 Toho rounds, and had a heck of a time finding good color matches (the blue in particular I ended up lucking out with some random beads a friend gave me) which ended up meaning I used a combination of matte, metallic and transparent finishes. As it turns out that worked better by adding a little sparkle but not too much. Sounds like a project for only the most experienced crafters. I’m sure she’d earn some nice money if she made some for sale. Via The Daily What: Geek. (If you stumble across a cool Doctor Who thing, feel free to email me with a link.)
