today in studio asskissing: just try avoiding ‘The Hunger Games’ between now and March
OMG! There are new character posters for The Hunger Games! I’m not posting these merely because I want to look at them. What makes you think that? Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss:
Josh Hutcherson as Peeta:
Liam Hemsworth as Gale:
Amandla Stenberg as Rue:
Lenny Kravitz as Cinna:
Elizabeth Banks as Effie:
Woody Harrelson as Haymitch:
Alexander Ludwig as Cato:
At first I thought, Hmm, Cato doesn’t look so mean. And Haymitch looks awfully put-together. And then I realized: Ah, these are in-universe ads for the Hunger Games themselves! Of course Haymitch isn’t gonna be drunk and disgusting. But hey! Wait! Where is the Caesar Flickerman poster? Where is President Snow? Where are Primrose and Claudius Templesmith? *grrr* Lionsgate is just teasing us, aren’t they? No, this is not the movie based on a book I’ve most anticipated since The Lord of the Rings? Who told you that? (No, The Hobbit doesn’t count for anticipating, because we already know it’s gonna be awesome, so we’re just waiting. Not that that matters anyway, because this is all about how much I’m so tired of hearing about The Hunger Games already. All right?) Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
