Doctor Who thing of the day: prequel minisode to “The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe”

I have to say, this almost makes me cry. I bet the Doctor encounters situations like this -- seconds from death, and all on his own -- far more often than we actually see, and I bet it never gets any easier.
