21 Jump Street (redband trailer)
Oh. My. God. Please kill me now. What have they done to my show? I knew I was in trouble the moment I saw that there is a redband trailer for this flick. 21 Jump Street could be “worthy” of a redband trailer only in the mind of people who-- Forget it. I give up. The show wasn’t the greatest TV series ever, but it was smart and funny in a down-to-earth way, and it dealt with teens and 20somethings as if they are real people with real problems who deserve real respect. And Johnny Depp and Peter Deluise shared some of the most entertaining actor chemistry ever... and they’ve been replaced by moron Channing Tatum, apparently playing himself, and (dammit) Academy Award nominee Jonah Hill, playing the same doofus he made his name with.
The guys who made Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs -- which is a really great film, actually -- have made Fuck Me Up with a Couple of Meatheads, it seems. That is, if this trailer is an accurate representation of the film. And even if it isn’t an accurate representation, that’s how Sony is selling this film. Death. Now. I cannot live in this world anymore. Disqus commentsblog comments powered by Disqus |
