Furious BBC tells Virgin to pull 'Dr Who advert' and accuse Branson of trying to cash in

The BBC is demanding that a Virgin Media television advert featuring David Tennant is pulled off air because they say it is trying to cash in on the success of Doctor Who.

Bosses are furious the rival broadcaster has included references to the hit sci-fi show in its new commercial for its TiVo on-demand TV service.
