ON THIS DAY: In 1992, the one millionth Chevrolet Corvette was built -- surely a banner day for car lovers everywhere. Mark Hamill stars in 1978's CORVETTE SUMMER, as a California high schooler who takes off after his stolen 'Vette, following his beloved car to Las Vegas, where he falls in love with a hooker played by Annie Potts. Right. I guess there was nowhere to go but down for poor Mark after STAR WARS. |
