The Freedom of Information Act is one frequently used by conspiracy theorists to unravel supposedly covered-up documentation, though paranoiacs have apparently yet to demand to see the encyclopedic dossiers that reside in the basement of the FBI's Washington, DC, HQ in 1998's THE X-FILES.
