The miles are long, arduous, and hilarious in 1988's road comedy MIDNIGHT RUN, in which Robert DeNiro's bounty hunter races to bring bailjumper Charles Grodin crosscountry from New York to Los Angeles by any vehicle necessary, from bus to train to stolen plane.
