TODAY IS: The 13th day of Alternate History Month, sponsored by fantasy and science fiction publishing house Del Rey Books, during which bookstores across America celebrate alternate-history fiction. An excellent example of the alternative history story is the 1994 thriller FATHERLAND, which takes place in 1964 in a Germany still ruled by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party. |
