Apparently eggdrop soup is a Western invention as well…Because yeah, those Chinese may have invented paper and fireworks and gunpowder but what have they done for us lately?;-)

I suspect the ads made a big impression at the time, as I can remember my parents, every time Jell-o was served in our house, saying, “Chinese baby like Jell-o?!”
