female gazing at: Michael Fassbender

This is Michael Fassbender looking good in a Nazi disguise in Inglourious Basterds. I couldn’t find a decent pic of him in Jonah Hex, in which he portrays the righthand man of John Malkovich’s villain.

I’m posting a picture like this one every weekday, of a man who is attractive and desirable, because I like to look, dammit — and because the female gaze doesn’t have to be such serious business.

Oh, and also as a fuck-you to Bret Easton Ellis, who thinks women don’t like to look.

(If you have a suggestion for someone we should female-gaze at, feel free to email me with a name or a link to a particular photo.)

Nice choice. Heard of the rumors that he’s being considered to play a young Magneto for an X-Men movie? James McAvoy will apparently play the young Professor X. Interesting pair…

  • I can’t remember who suggested Fassbender, but it was a darned good choice!

  • Lisa

    he’s wearing a Nazi uniform …

I was looking for images like this

ok so Nazi was another way to go…

  • Thank you for this. Just came back from seeing Jonah Hex. Fassbender is wonderfully rotten. I’d say he doesn’t get enough screen time but in a movie only 73 minutes long, one shouldn’t be greedy.

He’s unbelievable in Fish Tank. Too much of the true-to-life sleazeball to be exactly hot, but it’s an amazing performance.

I would like to make a suggestion for your female gazing: Paul Newman circa 1965. A classic.

  • MaryAnn

There will definitely be come classic female gazing coming up… :->

Ah yes, the lovely Michael Fassbender is lovely. I could never understand why he basically got replaced in Hex – he was delightfully creepy in it.

  • Isobel

I thought I should clarify that I meant Hex, the UK TV series, not Jonah Hex the film!

  • MaSch

Lisa: Fassbender’s not playing a Nazi there, he’s a British spy operating aginst the Nazis, so he’s hot here (wouldn’t be, IMO, if he were playing a Nazi).

  • Lisa

yeah and I liked that scene in Inglorious Basterds a lot – it wasn’t as great as the first scene though. He’s still wearing a Nazi uniform – it puts me off the female gazing a bit because it like it’s his face then my eyes move down EEK!!! NAZI! There’s a lot of people who are into that sort of thing but it’s not my bag at all!

  • Nina

MF was about the only good thing in Hex, the UK TV series.

  • LaSargenta

off-topic ?: If he is supposed to be disguised as a Hauptsturmfuhrer, why is he weraing a green uniform? Weren’t they all slate grey by the time this story is supposed to happen?

I’m not an insignia/uniform expert. Just have been exposed to a few and wondering that. I could be wrong. Anyone here know?

  • MaryAnn

Not only is his character not a Nazi, he *is* a film critic!

  • Lisa

oh well then he’s completely damned to hell!

  • Chill out with the Nazi trip out ppl. It is just a uniform from a movie. It is not like he is a real live Nazi. If the Nazi uni. bugs ya, just click on the lovely links that Lisa has so kindly provided in her post and enjoy. Thank you very much, MaryAnn.  Mr. Fassbender is quite tasty.
