I love Katie Sackoff. Should I feel sad she’s in this? Maybe she’ll get to be kick-ass in the movie! Being horror-and-blood-averse, I’ve never seen any of the movies in the series, but I have heard they’re pretty popular. I seem to remember Claudia Black was in the first one, another awesome actress.
I saw this trailer in the theater and audibly groaned. It looks SO bad.
Pitch Black was kind of fun, but Chronicles of Riddick was pretty sucky. This will surely suck, too.

I was faintly surprised to learn that the actress doing the parody of Katee Sackhoff’s bored one-expression style is actually Katee Sackhoff. She’s good when she gets good material (she’s been pretty decent in Longmire), but she doesn’t improvise well off a bad script the way some other actors can.
I quite enjoyed the first film, but it needed more Claudia Black and less Vin.
