Since yesterday we looked at the teaser trailer for Outlander — which Starz is clearly hoping will be its Game of Thrones — I figure today we should look at the inspiration.
Except — ack! I still haven’t seen Season 3! So I watched this through my hands covering my face. It seems pretty generic, though. Or maybe I’m too ignorant of what happened in Season 3 to recognize spoilers. (Hopefully I can get to S3 in time for the DVD release, coming up in Region 2 on February 17th [Amazon U.K.] and Region 1 on February 18th [Amazon U.S.] [Amazon Canada].)
Good to see lots of Peter Dinklage and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau here. Because gorgeous.
Game of Thrones Season 4 debuts in the U.S. on HBO on April 6th, and in the U.K. on Sky Atlantic on April 7th.
I haven’t seen season 3 yet, either. I’ve been waiting for it to be released on Feb. 17th. It sucks waiting so long, but I don’t want to do the illegal thing, and also don’t want to pay for HBO. Oh, well.
You could do the illegal thing and then buy the box set. I believe that satisfies digital karma.
There’s no point in that for me, as I never watch anything more than once. I couldn’t justify buying the box set and having it just sit there. So I act like a good little boy and WAIT. Ugh.
You could just pay for HBO during the 12 weeks GoT airs, it’d be cheaper than buying the box set and you’d get immediate satisfaction. Then cancel.

Very generic.
Oh, you’ll LOVE Season 3! Love triumphs, good vanquishes evil, everyone gets what they deserve, and there’s lollipops and unicorns for all.
That’s the strangest description of a meat grinder I’ve ever heard.
