Yeah, they would hastily transcribe the plays onto scrolls, then roll them up and conceal them in their boot-legs. Then they’d hurry away to a secret central location and “load them up” onto a complex underground pneumatic pipe system, and then this underground tube or “u-tube” would deliver the play transcripts (along with thousands of drawings of cats) to households all over the city…
