Heh. But while bar work wages here aren’t great, they aren’t sub-starvation level the way they are in some places, and traditionally we don’t tip; I usually only see it in places that are achingly trendy. (“Have one for yourself” is a near analogue – expanded, it’s “I would like to buy you a drink” – but it’s pretty rare.)
