The original tweet came from The Chicago Tribune. Their explanation is that they wanted to squeeze the Chicago connection to the story in there. Doing so was apparently more important than the subject’s name. Also, the tweet as written is only 70 characters, whereas Corey Cogdell-Unrein’s name is 24 characters.

Huh? The tweet was from the Chicago Tribune. The BoingBoing article just called it out.
