In the current environment, in which devoted movie bloggers work for free in exchange for access to early material and talent, can we even expect any pullback on the hype overdrive?
It’s almost like Christmas, except instead of red and green, silver and gold everywhere, it’s red, white, and blue and Union Jacks.

A time travel plot can feel like a huge narrative swindle if not handled correctly. But there’s no big do-over button hovering over this tale. Nope: the timey-wimey stuff here is clever, funny, thrilling, even poignant.
Some people might find this a little hard to watch: Guy self-surgically implants magnets into his forearm, so that he can carry around his iPod Nano without a wristband.

It’s too early to be psyched for this — it would be too exhausting to keep that up till October — but I’m psyched for this.
