Doctor Who blogging: “Death in Heaven”
Steven Moffat is now stealing plots from Ed Wood-esque parodies of science fiction. Because he just rewrote Chubby Rain.

None of this episode makes any damn sense at all.

Is Doctor Who going to insist on pinning down a concrete, rational explanation for every human fear?

Just when I thought I was out, Doctor Who pulls me back in.

I’m about to say the saddest thing I can imagine saying about Doctor Who: I just don’t think I care anymore.

And then there was the week when Doctor Who threw an MRA-esque tantrum about abortion.

So this is my life now. Even Doctor Who has abandoned me. Forget escapism: there’s no escapism anymore. The escapism is happening over there, offscreen…

So cute it hurts.

I really like this episode, and I’m totally in love with They Who Should Be Companions, Saibra and Psi.

Whatever you do, don’t look at the Weeping Vashta Nerada under the bed at the end of the universe.
