I’m so glad I had not seen this trailer before I saw the film. Because although it does not truly capture how hilarious the movie is, there are things in it that I screamed with laughter at because they were so startling, and I wouldn’t have been as startled if I’d been primed for them by the trailer.
The new film Four Lions opened in the U.K. last weekend, to great box office: £609,000 from just 115 screens, for a per screen average of £5,292, “the highest of all the new releases, and double most of them,” notes Charles Gant at the Guardian’s Film blog.
