I’d venture to guess that Asimov’s name is synonymous with science fiction even among the general public who don’t read. It seems like a no-brainer for Hollywood to glom on to Asimov’s reputation to pre-sell films. So why hasn’t it?
It’s still a not very good movie. But… It’s still Star Wars.
I didn’t sob here like, oh, “School Reunion” made me do, but there was certainly some welling up about the eyes.
