The Raid 2 movie rating: red light
Arthouse martial-arts action that’s incredibly dull even when it’s being pornographic about its extreme bloody violence.

This trailer thinks it’s vital that you understand that in this movie, you will get to see a man get beat about the head and torso with a baseball bat.
I dunno much about Judge Dredd. I know he springs from a comic book series, I know he’s Judge Judy and executioner, and I know he never takes his helmet off. Forget the roughshodding of civil rights: it’s that last one that’s a major bummer.
It’s a movie, not the latest first-person shooter, but it might as well be.
Yup, just what I’m looking for: more inventive ways people can be killed onscreen.
