Emelie movie review: bad babysitter, under a glossy veneer
A slow-burn twist on the home-invasion story with a creepily classy atmosphere of dread and menace, but where it ends up is the stuff of hoary cliché.

Not an inspirational football movie but the highlights reel from one, with a golden boy who is his own manic pixie dreamboat. The worst sort of hagiography.

Joyously warm and gentle… though perhaps too gentle to be entirely satisfying.
