question of the weekend: If you could travel either in space or in time, which would you choose, and why?

time travel space travel

As a followup to last weekend’s question — “If you could make one round trip in time, where would you travel to and why?” — comes a corollary, also suggested by Darryl at the same time:
If you could travel either in space or in time, which would you choose, and why?

It seems to me that the decision is about exploring the known (if unfamiliar to you) or the unknown: who knows what could be out in space? It could be really lonely out there, and a long way between scenic spots.

Go!
