question of the day: What nontraditional Christmas movie traditions do you have?

Die Hard Bruce Willis

Today’s question comes from Hank, who writes:

My best buddy, Kurt, watches “Die Hard” every year at this time. For him, it’s a Christmas movie. My friends Mark and Laura have a holiday tradition of watching, “The Lion in Winter,” also a Xmas movie. It struck me that asking folks what non-traditional Christmas movie traditions they have might make an interesting QOTD.

So: What nontraditional Christmas movie traditions do you have?

(If you have a suggestion for a QOTD, feel free to email me. Responses to this QOTD sent by email will be ignored; please post your responses here.)
