Apparently an earlier version of this scene was intended for “The Doctor’s Wife” — and now this version appears on the new Series 7 box set [Amazon U.S.] [Amazon Canada] [Amazon U.K.].

Gorgeous – and so much like a fond married couple! With Neil Gaiman as writer, I’d feared something much darker.

Good Lord, is Smith drunk? Or getting a neurological disorder? When I first watched him he wasn’t chewing and slurring all his lines like that.
