Ah, the sirocco! When I lived in Barcelona, we had it hit hard one year. The roof of my building had 3-4″ drifts in the corners against the parapets. I had to shake sand out of all my laundry (we dried it on the roof or hanging off lines on our balconies).
It’s nowhere near that bad here. If it wasn’t on the news, I don’t think I would even have noticed. I figured my itchy eyes were just hay fever.
Damn jaguars should not be wearing boots in the first place. And they are probably better off in South America where they belong…
I’ve been working outside for the last few days (30ish miles NW of London) and not noticing anything unusual at all. Huh.
