RSC’s Richard II (starring David Tennant) rating: green light

rscrichardii

A must-see for David Tennant fans who couldn’t get to London or Stratford for the RSC’s electric production; he’s as dynamic on stage as he is on screen.
I’m “biast” (pro): love David Tennant, big Shakespeare geek

I’m “biast” (con): nothing

I have not read the source material

But, wait…. If I get the disc, then he IS on screen!

I like David Tennant more than any straight guy should.

It is not possible to like David Tennant too much, no matter what one’s inclinations.

It seems to be available only on Region 1 DVD here, not Blu-ray (it is Region 2/B). Damn it, I don’t want to get a region-free BRD player if I can possible avoid it.
