What a load of bollocks. This was just a public relations whitewashing because that hypocrite Roosevelt called off the FTC’s investigation into the major 8 Hollywood studios’ monopolising of the industry. And that was because it was the 4th largest industry in the US at the time. Fantastic, he gave the bullies a free pass by way of the New Deal because he needed their ruthless business practices to generate commerce. What a douche.
