Yeah, John Cusack, one of the few actors that seems more than just an overpaid puppet, and one of the few actors whose name on a movie makes it a must see for it. He and I have similiar tastes in scripts (with one unfortunate exception, and even that wasn’t a bad movie, just not one for me), but I could say that about Keanu Reeves, too. Cusack could cold read from a script better than Reeves or any other action star performs.

I’ve noticed that a lot of movie stars centered around action movies seem to be conserative while more versatile actors tend to come out as liberals. I wonder if action movies stars make the mistake of confusing their movies with reality.
