MAJ – reporting a problem: video isn’t showing up for this entry when I use Internet Explorer, but shows up fine with Firefox. Just so you know.

Doh! I can’t check that, since they’re not longer making IE for the Mac.

I read in this morning’s newspaper that Putin is contemplating a return to office in 2012.

2012 is the date for the alien invasion in The X Files.

It’s also the London Olympics.

If BoJo now doesn’t have to pay for them that should cheer him up.

If you have an Intel-based mac, You might want to get a Windows emulator, or WiNE (A Unix app that allows you to run Windows programs without buying or installing Windows), just for cross-platform testing purposes.

Might be overkill, depending on how often you need to view something in Internet Explorer, but the option is there.

Oh, I know all about Windows emulators for the Mac. I just don’t feel the need to muck around with one. In this case, I already know, thanks to Anne-Kari, that there’s a problem, but I’m not gonna change this post — how would I? Apparently Current TV’s embedding isn’t viewable in IE. That’s weird, but that’s where this video is. I’m not gonna delete the post or change the video for another one. It sucks that some people probably won’t see it, but that’s the way it is.

Is there anyone else here using IE who IS able to see the video? Cuz I can go to Current and alert them to the issue, but I’d like to be able to say that it’s a *lot* of IE users who are having a problem — they could dismiss just one user’s problem as an issue with her setup, not theirs.

I’m using IE and all I’ve got is a blank white space.

No trailer for me.

That stone calendar the keep showing throughout the video – the one with the deity sticking out his tongue – they keep implying that it’s the Mayan calendar. It’s not. It’s the Aztec calendar, and completely different. Can’t really say how reliable this vid is for valid info.
