question of the day: What movie or TV show best embodies the place where you live?

I’ve often said, to anyone who’s asked if I watched Seinfeld, that I hardly ever watched it because it was too much like my everyday life. Soup nazis, secret subway food carts, the weird minutiae and unexpected etiquette of life in a big, cosmopolitan city: the show hit on the little things that define New York living. But I lived it all the time: I didn’t need to watch it. (It’s too soon for me to have a sense of which show or movie best embodies London.)

What about you? What movie or TV show best embodies the place where you live? And does the fact that it perfectly captures where you live change whether you can enjoy it as entertainment?
