Extra Ordinary movie review: oh, the mundanity!
Sly, sharp, and snarkily underplayed, this instant little masterpiece of fantasy comedy is as occasionally shockingly horrific as it is nonstop shockingly funny, peopled with instant fast friends.

A peanut-butter-in-my-chocolate movie, this Die Hard meets Twister monster is so ludicrous it comes all the way back around to being awesome and hilarious.
Wonderfully, sweetly geeky, and full of the sort of goofy yet intriguing adventures that inspire kiddie curiosity in history and art and science.
It’s long past time for a reboot or a sequel. Let’s do it!
Is there a single definition, or is it more a case of “you know it when you see it”? What’s your own personal “cult” film?
This is really tough for me, because I’m such a geek and SF is my favorite genre…
Me? I despair of ever seeing another Buckaroo Banzai movie. *sigh*
What my followers on Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ saw today…
Mine is a no-brainer: it’s the Doctor, of course. Though Buckaroo Banzai would come a close second.
Perhaps it can be expressed pithily in a single line of dialogue. Perhaps it cannot. Even the very wisest cannot see all ends.
