And Nia Peeples and Kel Mitchell are all that stand between humanity and global doom and stuff.
But only some people. It appears to be inconceivable to him that some women might actually like this movie. Why would they? It’s a science fiction military action flick with blatant political overtones… and no pink whatsoever. What’s for a girl to like, then? We shouldn’t be taxing our ladybrains thinking about such notions.
Battle: Los Angeles may be about invasion, but it’s not about aliens: it’s about us. This isn’t science fiction: It’s a bleak fantasy about karma being a bitch. It’s about collective cultural guilt. Looked at from that angle, it’s fascinating.
I’ll see the film on Friday, at a first showing, and have a review up asap afterward… hopefully by around 5pm London time.
