Take a break from work: watch a trailer… Remember, if you don’t see this movie opening week, it’s the same thing as saying, “Fuck the coral reefs.” But hey, what have the coral reefs ever done for you, anyway? Unlike last year’s disappointing Earth, this DisneyNature film is not adapted from the BBC series Planet … more…

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past: $10.3 million (2nd week; drops 33%) 4. Obsessed: $6.6 million (3rd week; drops 46%) 5. 17 Again: $4.2 million (4th week; drops 34%) … more…
They didn’t screen it for critics, it’s a complete piece of tripe, and it wins the weekend? Oh no they didn’t. Oh yes they did: 1. Obsessed: $28.6 million (NEW) 2. 17 Again: $11.5 million (2nd week; drops 51%) 3. Fighting: $11 million (NEW) 4. The Soloist: $9.7 million (NEW) 5. Earth: $8.8 million (NEW) … more…

Cutest monsters ever! At least that seems to be what Monsters vs. Aliens (opens in the U.S. on March 27, and in the U.K. on April 3) is promising. I’m especially thrilled because I’m seeing it in IMAX… real IMAX, not that fake stuff they’re trying to sell us these days with the phony “upgrade” … more…
