A fairy tale of the Grimm sort: no happy ending, no heroes or villains, just hard truths about life and human nature. Important, beautiful, heartbreaking.
Should be grim, bitter, and as horrifyingly alluring as Hannibal Lecter. But it’s nothing but a teen-friendly ad for toys, Ts, and other disposable merch.

Kudos to the film for including more than one token women in its mix. Too bad the (male) CGI cyber-raccoon is more fully realized than any of them are. [This post is not behind the paywall.]
