I promised to share a few of the juiciest tidbits from the Prometheus talent Q&A I attended last month. And here they are.

Did the nature of Fassbender’s performance as well as the subject matter of the film — which is so very raw about male sexuality — make male Academy voters too uncomfortable?
Michael Fassbender? Tilda Swinton? Michael Shannon? Elizabeth Olsen? But Jonah Hill gets a nom… *sigh*
Strips away the bullshit to the bare, spare truth: what pop culture typically feeds us as “ordinary” male sexuality is probably worthy of a psychiatric diagnosis.
There’s a lot of fight in Haywire, but very little punch — it starts to feel very grim and plodding…
So happy that The Artist is Best Film for us…
