So, the Doctor and Robin Hood walk into a spaceship… Oh my god, did I love this episode.

It’s not the Fantastic Voyage ripoff that bothers me here. It’s the ripoff of the wonderful early episode “Dalek.”

We now have Peter Capaldi to save us from Steven Moffat, who I swear is veering into Michael Bay territory…

I am hopeful for Capaldi’s Doctor. He’s a little bit scary here. That’s a good thing.

The incredibly surface similarities between these two urban fantasy series in no way hampered my immense enjoyment of either.

Numbers point to Yes: the show has gotten more sexist and less inclusive of women since Steven Moffat took over as showrunner from Russell T. Davies.

Will he get away from 21st-century Earth for some real adventures in space and time? Or will he be a companion booty call for when the Doctor gets lonely?
