‘Doctor Who’ thing of the day: ice fishing shanty TARDISAnother entry in BBCAmerica’s WherestheTARDIS.com contest, in which the entrants are vying for a special hometown screening of Doctor Who. This one comes from Brian and Margaret in Wisconsin, who put a Midwestern spin on the Doctor:
Brian and Margaret write that their entry was rendered as an ice-fishing shanty! We built it and put it out one cold February morning during 15 degree weather! The shot was taken on frozen Lake Monona, in the Madison, Wisconsin area! I would hop in the TARDIS and fly it somewhere a little warmer.
