‘Aghast’ is the word. It’s not a word that should be applicable to anything Seussical.
It’s ‘Desperate Housewives’ meets ‘Hot Fuzz,’ which works better than it should but not enough to be genuinely interesting.
It’s one joke that goes on way too long: these modern-day starcrossed lovers are Brazilians separated by an insurmountable divide: they are fans of rival soccer teams.
