Talk about old stuff.
Was just re-watching the ending to The Sopranos b/c I had a theory; then I checked the internet and had the ending properly explained from a directorial breakdown.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass…
and I’m all out of bubblegum
Love this flick. Rumor has it that the late, great stand-up comedian Bill Hicks (R.I.P.) was a fan.
I *really* want the Region 2 version made for Region 1, so I can hear the audio commentary with John Carpenter and Roddy Piper. Why haven’t they put it out?
Best. Fistfight. Ever.
nice threadjack, JoshDM. though a little overwrought in places, that’s the best explanation i’ve read of the final scene of The Sopranos.
i guess i can mourn now. feels a little like closure.
I’m gonna get this on DVD, it looks that good.
Man, I love an eighties fantasy/horror.
No, stuart. this is the best fistfight ever. :)
“They Live!” Great Movie or Greatest Movie EVER?
I found a pair of sunglasses on the ground the other day, I put them on, and I saw all these subliminal signs that told me “BUY THE ‘THEY LIVE’ DVD.”
I just saw the film on a public domain film site.
Right, then…
One of us has to say it.
“I HAVE COME TO CHEW BUBBLE GUM AND KICK ASS…
and I’m all outta bubble gum.”
nuff said.
And before anyone says it…
YES I KNOW KEN SAID IT FIRST.
But we can’t all be as perfect as Ken, can we.
