I like “talk nerdy to me.” I realize it’s not an original MAJ-ism, but it makes me giggle. Well done.

MAJ – you’ll love this link, it’s all about assorted actors who ‘get fandom’, and includes David Tennant, Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day and others.

I watched Snow Cake on BBC i Player.
It’s great.

Then I watched Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
It was also great.

Pretty great day.

If only every day could be like this…

Don’t think I’ll be watching The Spirit.
Or Bride Wars.

So I’m chatting with an older coworker today about movies and I drop the concept of “Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon” on him.

Subsequently, we travel to visit The Oracle of Bacon for a few queries.

Little did I realize that next month’s (anthology?) movie that I never heard of, “New York, I Love You” completely fucks over the process.

In fact, after searching a bit, whomever posted the trailer on Youtube agrees with me.

I found this rather randomly, but it’s utterly fascinating (after the first 3 minutes of Jack Nicholson’s personal hygiene routine). It’s a ‘making of’ for The Shining, and the whole thing was shot and edited by Kubrick’s then-17-yr-old daughter.
