You kids are on your own to amuse yourselves while Mom goes to meet her geek friends for a showing of Star Trek, with Romulan ale and revelry afterward…

Rub it in, yeah.
I could go see it this weekend, but I’m afraid I’d fall asleep; not out of boredom, but since it would follow a long-ass 12-hour work-day (though, even then, it’s excruciatingly tempting).
But I will stick with the safe plan, and see it Monday morning, after I’ve had a decent amount of sleep.
