retro trailer: ‘Repo Man’

Take a look back at an old trailer…

The Repo Men trailer I posted earlier this week made me hungry for Repo Man.

My decade-old review of Repo Man still holds, and what I find interesting about this trailer is that it’s just as mysterious as the film itself: it doesn’t reveal much, and leaves you scratching your head, desperate for more.

Repo Man is available on Region 1 DVD from Amazon.com and from Amazon.ca, and on Region 2 DVD from Amazon U.K.

Don’t forget the great SoCal punk soundtrack. Alex Cox knew his punks.

Alex Cox knows his punx! Joe Strummer (RIP) wrote the score for his Walker, not to mention Straight To Hell (one BIG punk in-joke)…with a very appropriately used Courtney Love.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. I actually own a copy and only own about a dozen films. Half of them are by Alex Cox.
