I love it when dogs and cats get along so well. This reminds me of my dog and my now deceased cat, they were best friends. She’d groom my dog, and once I even found her curled up on his side while he napped (she was tiny and my dog’s around the 40 pound mark). :)

Too cute! We had a springer spaniel bitch that loved our cats. Our first cat loathed her, but when she had kittens the dog was absolutely besotted and we kept a kitten and they were inseparable – used to curl up in front of the fire together (at least they’d start out curled up together, and then the cat would gradually appropriate the dog’s sheepskin rug while the dog ended up on the wooden floor). That cat used to sleep curled up on my horse’s haunches, too.
